FRET BEVELING FILE - Adjustable Angle From 0 to 35 Degrees
VARIABLE ANGLE
The file is mounted in a thermoplastic bar that can be rotated for producing any fret bevel angle from 0 to 35 degrees.
A graduated end plate provides angular reference in 5 degree increments.
The variable angle feature is also valuable on necks where the strings closely approach the fret ends, allowing for a steeper bevel angle to prevent string roll-off.
ADJUSTABLE DEPTH
The file protrusion can be adjusted from 2.5mm to 5.5mm, ensuring even wear distribution. Additionally, it can be turned over to prolong its lifespan.
GUIDE BLOCK
The underside has a machined radius for smooth movement over the frets, ensuring a consistent bevel angle.
The guide block is made from oak and hand finished for comfortable grip.
