Guitar Fret Press & Cradle
Self-contained Fret Press & Guitar Cradle
Designed to sit directly on the workbench without requiring hold-down clamps, the system features a 425mm diameter round sub-base supporting a 600mm x 300mm upper mounting board.
This allows the entire station to swivel for full 360-degree access while minimising workshop bench space.
The solid oak cradle incorporates a fixed neck support caul, universal guitar body rest and four secure locking clamps.

Included - Standalone Guitar Cradle
The cradle includes support pads for use as a standalone unit, which are removed when using the cradle within the press.
Dual Aluminium Post Press Beam
Rigid, balanced pressing is achieved through twin aluminium posts set 360mm apart to easily span wide guitar bouts.
The press beam height adjusts quickly and secures with thumb screws, sliding bottom stop plates, and inner locking plates to prevent upward travel under load.
Operated by an ergonomic ball handle and smooth screw mechanism, the press accommodates acoustic instruments up to the heel and covers all fret positions on solid body electrics.
Mounting the press to the table
The fret press lower member slots between the upper board and circular base and is secured with 2 x M8 countersink screws.
Easy Change Cauls
The caul is located onto the press screw using a spring retained thrust collar.
To remove the fret caul - pull the thrust collar downwards.
To fit the caul - push collar up until it engages on the end of the screw.
Plain Grooved Cauls Option
Set of 10 plain radiused cauls.
Brass Grooved Cauls Option
Set of 11 machined groove cauls and special holder.
Full Guitar Pressing Capability
The photograph illustrates the cradle fully extended and the slide-under supplementary support utilised.
Heel Support Jack
The heel support packing blocks are fitted to suit the particular guitar body depths.
The heel support jack is positioned horizontally to achieve the optimal placement beneath the heel.
Acoustic Guitar Setup
Suitable for pressing over the supported fretboard on acoustic guitars, typically up to the 12th/15th frets. Fretting past the heel will require internal bracing or additional measures.
